Journey with Diversity in Law
Tarisai, is the founder of Diversity in Law. She established the organisation in 2018, inspired by her personal experiences of being the only Black person—and Black woman—in many spaces. Through Diversity in Law, Tarisai aims to raise awareness of the importance of diversity in the Irish legal market. Her vision includes educating stakeholders and building a collaborative network of corporates, solicitors, barristers, in-house counsel, and students to promote and enhance diversity within the legal profession.
Professional Journey
Tarisai moved to Ireland from Zimbabwe in 2012, studying Law at University College Dublin (UCD), where she completed a year abroad at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Tarisai graduated in 2016 with a training contract at Ireland’s largest corporate law firm, Matheson LLP. Tari was recently promoted to a Senior Associate and specialises in Employment. She has been on the panel of many discussions, and the vocal point of many articles driving for change.

Journey with Diversity in Law
Jesutofunmi joined the Diversity in Law committee in 2020 as a social media manager, taking charge of the website and associated social media platforms. She has also hosted and participated in panel discussions focused on diversity, equity and women empowerment. Jesutofunmi’s vision for Diversity in Law is to create a community where minorities and underrepresented individuals have equal opportunities and support, beyond the legal field.
Professional Journey
Jesutofunmi is an LLB graduate from Maynooth University, where she received the prestigious LLB Laureate Award. She is currently an FE1 candidate, aspiring to specialise in AI law - she is certified in Azure AI fundamentals, AI and Human Rights and Legal Service Innovation. Jesutofunmi has gained experience at SurveyMonkey and Mason Hayes & Curran LLP. Currently, she works as a Case Manager at Beam, a digital conveyancing firm.

Iniolu, is a passionate advocate for representation and diversity, believes that showcasing Black women thriving in their respective fields inspires others to pursue their chosen paths with confidence. Iniolu joined Diversity in Law as a committee member in February 2024. Her vision for Diversity in Law is to encourage and support underrepresented individuals in the legal profession, fostering a more inclusive environment for all.
Professional Journey
Iniolu is a BCL graduate of Dublin City University and is currently training as a solicitor with Arthur Cox LLP. She previously worked as a paralegal in Deloitte Ireland's in-house legal team, gaining valuable professional experience. Iniolu successfully passed all eight of her FE1 exams in 2024 and was recently featured in Galway University Women in Law’s E-Zine, ‘Mná of the Law’. Iniolu has honed her public speaking and advocacy abilities through extensive public speaking.

Alimat is a final-year law student at University College Dublin and joined as a committee member of Diversity in Law in February 2024. Alimat's vision for Diversity in Law is to empower students from underrepresented communities and breaking down barriers within the legal profession.
Professional Journey
Alimat is a Fulbright Scholar, an accomplished mooter. She has served as Director for Diversity at the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA) Ireland and contributed to policy recommendations on migration and integration in the EU as part of the European Student Assembly. Alimat has been involved in grassroots initiatives to promote access to justice and mentoring students from non-traditional routes to higher education.

Grace Oladipo joined the Diversity in Law committee at the end of 2024. She aids with Event Planning and Funding. Grace's vision for Diversity in Law is a legal community where diversity is celebrated and representation is visible within the profession.

Grace is a trainee lawyer at Arthur Cox, a published author, and a dynamic social entrepreneur. She is the visionary founder of AudacityXX, an organisation dedicated to empowering women to boldly pursue their dreams and unlock their fullest potential. Grace holds an LLB from University College Dublin, and a Master’s in International Human Rights Law from the University of Notre Dame. She is a recipient of the Fulbright and George Moore scholarships.
